Is it just me, or are some arans completely rude?

Seriously, ever since the class has come out, I have been constantly ksed by arans. They have been inconsiderate, stubborn, and down-right rude. But today has probably been the worst experience dealing with an aran that I have ever had. I was training at mp3, like I had been for the past half hour, when this aran, HitterAran99, came into my map. I kept killing stuff, but he followed me around, killing all of my mobs that I had gathered up. Being a reg-luk cleric, I couldn't out damage him, so I decided to move up to the top platforms, giving him the lower part of the map. But then he followed me up and kept killing my mobs. Having given him the chance to share the map, I politely asked him to change channels. He did not answer, and kept following me, continuing to kill my mobs. I then actually asked him if he wanted to share the map, but he continued to follow and ks me. I then asked him to stop ksing me, but he once again followed me and ksed me. Finally, when I asked him why he was ksing me, he simply replied "because i can". After that moment, he kept ksing me, to the point where he would leave his own mobs in order to ks mine. He keeps ksing me, and after a bit, when I sit on a rope to decide how to deal with the problem, he says "just watch. it gets worse". I wonder, what drives people to do things like that? Is it that they are insecure, or just naturally vicious? I'm not saying that all arans are bad people ( I have a few in my guild that are really nice), but some of them are even worse than the infamous dexless sin players.

Lemme share my experience--- once a godly lv 55 aran came into my mp3 channel I couldnt KS him out, so i kindly suggested that channel 1 is empty he was like "let me get to level 70 first!" WTF!

Well, even though you make a valid point about the SOME Arans being obnoxious & rude, there are many other classes that have people like this playing them, I think that it would be a better idea to judge the individual rather than the class they are playing, because all this serves to do is create a negative stereo-type for that class without just cause. I'm sure that's the last thing you want to do, Sins/Hermits/NL's already have a hard enough time as it is, putting up with the almost automatic abuse from the general population of Maple, without another class gaining this unwelcome gift. I seem to find that people ask me to "not KS me please" before I have even had a chance to notice someone on the map/throw a star. I also seem to find that people are very vicious, hostile & defensive about their map as soon as they see me. If I was any other class then, when I ask if I could party them and share the map, they would either say "sorry I need the full spawn for a decent amount of EXP/hour" or "yea sure, I'm a bit bored & could do with some company", but all because of my CLASS (I am a Hermit) they tell me instantly to "cc please" or "CC F3" & even "F**K off & Don't KS me!" before I can even CC of my own accord or put forward a question about partying/sharing. I hate this & would really like to get to know more people in-game & make some friends, this is very hard because people have already made up their mind about me before they have even met me. This is why I would like, civilly & democratically, to ask you to not pick on a certain class, even if its not intentional & next time you want to discuss something that has happened to you In-game, name the thread after the character in question &/Or just put "someone".

It's a really annoying thing when u try to kill a boss for a quest but a high level comes along and just 1HKO's it. That happend to my dit when i was trying to do the mano quest for extra exp during the halloween event last year -.- everyone was after those stuiped coins & no channels were open for ANY boss & i play in YELLONDE THE LOWEST POPULATED SEVER THERE IS! it was mostly by arrogant bowmasters & dexless hermits -.-

[/quote] While this is true in some sense, but as the tread starter stated, it was an Aran in this situaution and it's the worst kser he had to deal with, the player takes advantage of their high mobbing capabilities to ks similar to how sins used their L7 formula get it? You won't see a cleric ksing simply because they have a hard time doing it. So stop bashing the thread starter before you do some logical thinking yourself.

If an Aran kses me, I cc. Then I log onto a mule and use KiPE. Two minutes later, I have my spot again.

Is it just me, or are some [Every class] completely rude? Rather pointless thread as it is not based on class, but the person themselves. The worst KSers I've dealt with are Pirates. Does that mean I need to start a thread against pirates now?

Arans are easy to get rid of... kill off their combo... they won't stick around long.

They try to act tough in the game to make up for the things that they cant do in real life... Dont get too frustrated, this stuff happens all the time... The community is now declining really quickly...

WTF! [/quote] You must have come across one really stupid Aran. D: I went to MP3 to train, in my mid-50's and out of nowhere here comes this Dawn Warrior killing everything. According to him, his own Aran was in the map first, even though I was literally the only one in the map at the time I arrived. At least you didn't have some jerk getting onto another character just to ks you out of a map, so that his own weaker character can have a training spot.

I would also like to state that my thread was not made to demonize a single class, it was just to point out that this particular person, and I admit that my TITLE (to all of you people spamming my title and flaming) was not thought out very well. I only meant to state that the ksing has gotten worse for me, and this person just pushed me over the edge. On another note, nice Username, my name's Kristian too ^^
