I REALLY want the Chinese New Year Events back more then the Mardi Grass Even Like This event SUCKS I remember the Red envalops or in chinese Liy-see-foung And the luner tickets still have em Who else agrees with me.

I remember the first year i played, me and my bros kinda had a competition to see who could earn mesos fastest. I traded in a red envelop and got 100k, much to the jealousy of my brothers.( yes, we were noob xP) Good times, good times. Chinese New Year Event? Yes, all the way. Mardi Gras? Wth is it?

I do. The Mardi Gras masks expire too where as if you get the lai see or the red packets you can get mesos and can get up to 888,888 mesos. Why 8? Cause 8 is very lucky in Chinese. Would rather have that event but then again Nexon think not many chinese play Maple Story Global so no chinese event for Global only festivals native to Global and Americans.

Yea, I remember the Luner year or chinese new year events, those were cool. Collecting red envelopes to make money, and collecting tickets to those cool white hats of our jobs.

I'd preffer the Mind of Maple over this... At least that way I could laugh at people who payed NX for a crappy expiring pendant. Rude thoughts asside, I didnt really care too much for most of those events, but at least most of the events back then didnt have the rewards vanish... But I doubt we will see it again. The Lunar Calander is almost never used in the US... and nexon apparently doesnt want to be "global" anymore.

I miss the chinese new years event and to top it off, my current school doesn't celebrate chinese new year like my elementary school. Gong Hay Fut Choy! shtupid ppl forgetting about chinese ppl
