Hi, this is my attempt and the Archer Legend. Since Aran and Evan all had something unique about them, so will the Archer Legend. WARNING! EXTENSIVE WRITING UP AHEAD! THERE WILL BE NO TOO LONG;DIDN'T READ SHORTENINGS. Okay, so the Archer Legend works like that old story where the kid pulls a sword out of the stone, except he gets an xbow. The unique thing about him is, he is elven-like. He has pure solid color eyes, and pointed ears. The only hair color to choose from is White, and Black(unless you buy NX to dye it). So anyways, lots of people try to pull the bow from the stone, and when the legend(you) goes up to it, it speaks to you telepathically. It tells you of its story, which you experience the Aran's. It tells you to pull it out and free him, so it can get revenge on the Black Magician, which is why he awakened from his deep and troubling sleep. You grab the bow(click on it), and the bow comes out. You then begin your quest to become the Legendary Archer which the xbow and all the townspeople speak of, and to defeat the Black Magician. The xBow: You NEVER get a new xbow. Instead, every 10 levels, you do a quest to get a scroll which takes up 0 slots, to power up the bow. the scroll increases ATT+5, Dex+1, and Knockback+1%. You still do Job Advances, but they come along with each scroll quest. The bow works like an elemental wand, except powered down. It increases Holy Damage. You CAN equip other bows, but your damage decreases. Also, the Bow levels up somewhat like a Timeless/Reverse weapon, except it requires you to level 30 times(you have to equip the bow in order for it to count). it doesn't have a max level, so it can get to almost level 7 by the time you hit 200.(once you hit 200, you automatically hit level 7 on your bow.) First Job: Holy Archer Double Holy Shot:Just like the two arrow move from 1st job Archer adventurer, except holy. (max level: 30) Second Job: Holy Archer Spell Seeker: This is your mastery, but gives you twice the acc, and some avoid. (max level:30) Third Job: Holy Archer Deadeye: This is a weaker, more tuned down version of sharp eyes. It gives you crit, but is a self buff. (max level:30) Fourth Job: Holy Archer Sonic Speed: Booster, but only works with the legend xbow. Fifth Job: Holy Archer Sonicboom: A mix of Iron Arrow and Arrow Bomb, except it is holy. It goes through the monster, stuns it, and keeps going. The best thing about it, is that you could be in middle of a mob, and you won't have to whack the monsters back, you can just fire away. That's all i have right now. I wanna train my Aran for a bit, so i will right more later.(if people actually like it)

You've got interesting ideas. However, I think that instead of having to use that crossbow throughout the game, it should either: a. Be a sort of guide, to strengthen the Legend-successor until he can equip that crossbow, as it's too powerful for him. or b. Just be a cover, with its stats based off of the crossbow you've equipped (like an NX item). Also, about taking revenge on the Black Mage... although yes, he's the 'bad guy,' but isn't revenge a bit corrupt, especially for a class that is a 'Holy Archer'?

So, by the time one is lv 120, their xbow will have 12 dex unscrolled? Too godly.

I think it would be cooler if the archer legend was more nature-element. I think that would suit it way more.

I think there was a screenie and it said there was a skill "Genesis Arrow" or somewhere along those lines.

I would think the scrolls would be more like how a reverse weapon levels, and each time you get a new scroll for it, you have a possibility to increase the ATT 3-5 and the dex 0-1, so that it doesn't have ridiculous DEX by the time you're level 120.

um the story lin es good but the bow is etchy.

i like it. Just some parts like the xbow u keep all the way is bad. Leveling could basically turn it horribly horrible, and you cant get another. You cant get it over average and underaverage as well. If you mess up the holy xbow, and get another reg. xbow then it'll be weaker

Good idea but I doubt they would focus it on one elemnt. So Im expecting multiple elements nor just holy and I believe Ivan has been confirmed.

well this is how i see, all the legends have this thing about them that is unique aran has combos evan has a buddy and the thief has amazing movement base skills(saw pics of some of there skills in another post so i think the archer needs something like this, but idk what

Also, dex is actually doesn't effect Bowman's damage too greatly. @ShardStealer: Yea i was thinking that, but it seemed to me the Holy is used hardly at all. @IceDemon: Same thing i said above to Spear, Dex isn't that big in damage. 5dex-1att(i think. last time i checked). Also, that wouldn't be completely fair if it worked like a Reverse weapon leveling up, because each xbow goes up 5att. i.e:Dark Crow - 93 ATT Dark Neschere - 88 ATT. I'm suprised no one thinks that their mob move is a little unfair. I figured someone would say something about it.

And while seemingly powerful, the crossbow is definitely not God. It's just that revenge tends to lead to 'the dark side.' Now, bringing the Black Mage to justice is completely different. I wasn't paying so much attention to the skills as opposed to the storyline. :P Edit: If you're talking about the Holy Iron Bomb (Arrow Arrow?), I don't think you should be able to fire it at close range and have it keep going. If shot at close range, it'd lose a lot of momentum just from the first monster.

Pulling a sword out of a stone only works because the sword is tapered. You can't exactly rip a hook-shaped object out of rock. Otherwise I think it could be possible that the archer is holy. Another possibility could be a steampunkish xbowman (that would go along with the technologically more advanced weapon compared to the bow.)
