So this girl on maplestory.

Recently I met this girl on my server, not mentioning any names. Now just hear me out. She is making an INT NL - with 30k hp just because she can and wants to prove it can in fact be done. She says she is going to double or possibly even triple wash and is planning to set as 10grand AUS for this little experiment. I asked her why she would do such a thing, her response? "Because I have nothing better to spend my money on." Now it is none of my business, not my money or my time but it does bother me a bit. She then went on and on about her personal details which I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say but will anyway. She says she's 20, and a full-time uni student, nothing odd about this. Then she goes on and claims that she is 'Head of IT management' and earns 120k+ a year and has been all over the world. Now I'm not saying I don't believe her, but you have to admit it sounds very very hard to believe that a 20yr old full-time uni student has time to maple 24/7, work full-time and earn that much in a year. I just found it very hard to piece together in my head, anyone else? Not to mention setting aside 10k real money just to prove that a NL can have 30k base hp =.=" Before anyone else says it, yes if this is true, I am jealous that she has this money sitting around to use on pointless things (like proving a 30k hp NL) when other people are struggling - Haiti etc. Leave thoughts!

I wouldn't believe it, I mean even when you don't have any good things to spend you money on, I can come up with hundreds of other useless things to spend my money on. Why maplestory? A student?

So if they graduated at let's say 17. 3 years of full-time work with 120k / year still wouldn't get her enough to not have 'anything better to spend it on'. And that's assuming she somehow magically got head of IT management after graduating. Eh.

Problems with her: Most likely she/he is some G.I.R.L who boasts about stupid stuff that will never come true. Either this is part of an elaborate scam of the fellow is just being extremely stupid.

[/quote] Indeed with an income of 360 over 3 years you're far from being such a rich b*stard that you don't have anything better to spend your money on. On one hand I'd say "let her be", but maybe it's good to tell her it's not really good for her to spend so much RL money on pixels...

a fresh uni grad couldnt not get 120k on their first few years of work no matter what job... with years experience yes but not a fresh grad... especially IT.. sure they earn a lot and unless she works for some well known corporal company shes not gna get 120k..
