I don't get Asians. I'm Asian.

You see, I live in Hawai'i, and I'm Asian. But I don't understand what it means to be Asian... in the other 49 states. Most of us here, we don't really care. In fact, I think white people (from the other 49 states) are weird, especially the way they talk. So, I'm asking all in the other 49 states: what is it like to be Asian in mainland America?

It's rare to see Asians where I live. There's less than 2% in each of the schools here.

I'm on the coast, nothing special. 50% asian 50% caucasian at my school. Most just stick to their own ethnicity, but there are a few who socialize with both, mainly the ones who dress like the fobs but can't speak chinese or korean. At a caucasian party it might be 20% asian, but fob parties are 100% asian. Don't really know what else to say.
