Thief "Legend" and the Remaining Classes

This post will assume the information presented in Spadow's blog ( http://spadow.wordpress.com/2010/02/10/sneak-peek-of-dual-blade/ ) is true. It's just a brief overview of my own opinion on the new class, so take it for what it's worth. Dual Blades will Replace Bandits To this day bandits have been the fastest and flashiest melee class. At the beginning warriors (all 3 of them) didn't even come close. Later Brawlers were released, and are somewhat of a halfway point between warriors and bandits speed and damage wise (with equally flashy skills). It's about time bandits got some competition in this area. From the pictures shown it doesn't seem as though the dual blades will do a substantially higher amount of damage in comparison to bandits (in fact judging from the pics they seem quite weak, although it may just be crappy equipment). The only issue I see here is how they differ from bandits at all. Their weapons look different (yet they're the same in principle, fast attacking melee weapons) but the attacking skills look quite similar to what a bandit has in his repertoire (in effect, not appearance). But until the complete skillbook is shown, it'll be quite hard to tell. Are they really Adventurers? At first I thought this theory was unlikely considering that the last 2 jobs KMS released have been Legends (yes Arans are a legend class, even if they aren't the actual legendary hero). From the picture and information presented they look like their own class (they aren't put in with the adventurers, and yet their background color is blue like adventurers and not green like the other two Legends). As the story is still unrevealed, they could be taught by the Legend (or something) but for now it's all speculation. And as to whether or not they'll be able to do Adventurer only quests is also up to speculation. They look like adventurers, but they have their own separate selection screen in the create a character menu. MoN anyone? The Owl Like Arans use wolves, and Evans use Dragons, I'm going to go out and a limb and guess the mount for the dual blader will be an owl (if it's not a Hog). The spoiler picture shows an Owl flying past and a lot of the skills seem to have either "owl" in the name or have an owl like animation (one of them drops a giant owl on an enemy for christ sakes) Future Classes Q: How many characters can we expect? A: Two characters are already prepared. One character is a Hero and the other character is related to the Black Magician. Currently they haven�t decided a launch date for these two new jobs. Q: Will the other jobs be modified? A: It�s planned. Magician, Archer, Pirates etc. So I guess the jobs will be getting another balance update. The above Q&A was taken from Spadow's Blog. I'm having some trouble deciphering it so if someone else could clear it up for me that's be great. But my interpretation of it is that there will be 2 legends left "One is a Hero and the other is a character related to the Black Magician" and each

Owl mount sounds likely...but how would you ride an owl? xD Also, why don't you wait until you actually see one in a video before saying they'll replace bandits? It's kind of like only seeing a picture of a sloth and thinking "Wow, I bet he's as agile and energetic as a lemur!"

@Biotype: It was just the title of the little section I made. I don't actually think they'll be replacing bandits, if you actually read what I said I was just addressing the claim some people made that they would replace bandits.

I have a feeling they'll be faster than bandits but weaker. And since bandits are already weak and most people luv damage. They replace bandits that much. -My opinion-

There a mobbing class imo. All the skills in the screenshots were mobbing skills, hitting multiple mosnters. So Im not that into it anymore.

Well most jobs have mobbing skills by 3rd and 4th advancement, even thieves (and the skills shown in the pics look like 3rd job skills)

I never said bowmen would be 3rd, and from what I can gather it's going to be a new legend class. (It was just my interpretation of that little Q&A taken from Spadow's blog)

Yeah...it was never even stated that there'd be a legend representing each class. For all we know the next legend could be another variant of the warrior ._. Edit: @Above: The owl is in the first pic with the dual guy, the weird girl and Dark Lord. One of the skills is a giant stone owl squashing a monster, and another has owl in its name
