Why do people hate teachers?

Most people say; "i H8 dis teashur!" whether it be real life or online, why would you hate them? I've realized most people that hate teachers, don't pay attention, don't turn in homework, disrupt the class or do anything of that sort. Can I be told for once a legitimate reason to hate one of your teachers?

1. The teacher hates you. 2. The teacher doesn't like you. 3. The teacher gives WAY too much homework. 4. The teacher is really mean. 5. The teacher doesn't let you talk in class. 6. People hate teachers because they are teenagers. They can't help being Jerks.

I hated my one teacher because she was really biased. She would favor kids and break the rules for them, i.e. letting them hand in work late, late passes to class when they just came in to talk with her, let them go to the lunchroom for food during class. And then she would be the strictest, meanest lady alive to everyone else, whether you were nice or not. I also didn't like (not hate) my global teacher one year because he gave a lot of work. And, don't get me wrong, I did all of it, but it was such a huge hassle. He could have given a smaller amount of work, notes, homework, projects, etc.

Some teachers are just terrible at teaching. Ever been to college? Sometimes you'll have the deal with the most incompetent of teachers, that you practically have to self-educate yourself on the course.

Teachers in general, I dont hate. Crappy, lazy, rude, uncaring etc. teachers, I do hate.

I rest my case. [/quote] 1. You probably hated the teacher before they hated you. 2. Kinda the same as 1 right...? 3. It's only to help you get what you're doing in class. 4. Probably only mean or strict to make sure you learn what you're supposed to learn. 5. Why would you talk? Talk to your friends? 6. Group work with your friends usually leads to talking about random junk. Groups with randoms is usually ruined when someone spoils the answer, you don't learn anything if you just get the answer. 7. I get homework every night, it's easy. I get 6 hours to work with. 8. Mostly because they assume you use your weekend so you can relax. Rather than a school night/day.

Most teachers I've had are average, or good at teaching. Even if they suck at teaching you have no reason to hate him/her... you may hate his/her teaching... but not the person. As for the people who "don't pay attention, don't turn in homework, disrupt the class or do anything of that sort." hating on the teacher, it's pretty obvious.
