When ever i try to go to the main maple community site, be it from Europe or Australia, the site says; "WOW uhhhhh.. looks like you're not from America are you" (WELL SPOTTED!) And then I click continue and it proceeds to say; "We dont accept people from outside anymore LULZ, so 'IF YOU WANT TO' you can look at other regions maple story pages" What i dont understand here is theyre asking me if i want to but ONLY give me the option of doing so. I have an account in global maple... why say that if i still have an account i can continue to enjoy Global maple services but always direct me to elsewhere? It's just... ugh another one of nexons annoying flaws.

You arn't supposed to have an account on GMS. What are you complaining about? They even had a patch a while back to kick most people off with foreign IP's. LOL

LOL [/quote] They made a blitz to prevent IPs outside North America to make new accounts - not to ban players outside. By the way, we have an alliance member from Japan and she still plays frequently.

So yeah... some are lucky and some are not?

Yes okay but why call it global.. -_- that just makes me want to stab myself in the eye.... People from outside the "global" range should still be allowed access to the global network.. except it's simply reccomended that they go to their own version. I mean i've played on global for like what 4-5 years now before they made it all lame. They could handle it before i mean why cant they now... sigh.

Mm, it's not Global anymore, it's North America Maple Story. And if you made an account before a certain date, you'd still be able to play. I had friend from like Swedish playing lol, and he still does.

Australians, North Americans, and Israelis can access maple global as far as I know. If you're from another region, you can use a proxy to mask your IP address so you can play with your friends on maple global. I don't know why they block people from other versions. I'd like to try my hand at the Japanese version and I'm sure my gf would like to try maple sea. Just not interested enough to find a proxy though.
