A LUK Bandit okay?

I'm thinking of making a reg LUK/DEX Dit. I don't care if STR dits are stronger during 4th job, but I'm not sure. I have 600m funding, and I'm not even sure that's enough to fund my LUK dit, so why a STR dit. Are LUK dits still "okay"?

STR dits start to become better than LUK ones later on in the game. If you do not think that you will lvl your bandit that much, I say go for LUK, but if you plan on hitting 4th job, definitely STR.

Dexless has the potential to overpower any Bandit till level 80. At 80 they start to fall behind if their not properly funded. That's when Low, and STR start to catch up. At around 120 STR has the highest potential to outdamage all 4 type of stat bandits, but in the end only the funded bandit will win. Reg dex is just "lol". Do what you want you have enough funding to cover what you need, but have no chance of going overboard. >.>

Regular? I don't think many people do that nowadays for early levels. For now, it's "standard" to be dexless up till level 70-80, then people decide, str or luk? It's all down to funds. And what's fundamentally tiebreaking is the attack shields that one wears. Usually, it's said that if you can't afford an attack shield that's 12-18(forgot) above what you can afford as a LUK bandit, then it's best to go STR. But really, funding is everything, and the choice is yours.

Khanjar is something; finding a good attk. shield is something else. A clean khanajar is 12-14 attack clean (can't remember), so that just pretty much knocks out a attack shield by a long shot in terms of money.

[quote] littlewizmax : Isn't a dragon khanjar or something more expensive than a att. shield? o-o [/quote] A Dragon Khanjar is an attack shield....o_o But really, if you can go low-stat (it sounds like you can without any problems), you can benefit more from going Str (even though I'm a Luck Shadower, I do have to admit that a 45 potential stat boost from a Zakum helm is better than a 30 stat one...) A clean Dragon Khanjar can last quite a while, but at some point, you'll probably want to upgrade it (in which case it starts to cost alot more). Regardless of what you decide to do, I wish the best of luck to you

[/quote] Well most Bandit's go hybrid due to the fact that there are more well scrolled luk daggers then str daggers. Though they convert into low str too equip a D. Khajanar for the extra power. Like everyone else said do what you want your off to a good start. Actually scratch that i remembered that not everyone is funded so some do become full str just for the cheap daggers.

[/quote] Yeah, I know plenty of people who use a Luck dagger along with their Khanjar. If you want, TS, I have a spare 113/11 unhammered blood dagger I could sell you, later on down the road =P

Alright, I'm making a STR Bandit, but I'm afraid I don't have enough funding for an "okay" STR-bandit. I have no interest in being "GODLY" or "OMFGWOW". :P, but I want to be decent.

If you have 600m go for a str dit. Fan owns > DT and probably even a crusayer if probably scrolled.
