Economy failing?

Maybe this was posted before, but I'd like to know why everything is dropping in price. Especially CFA's and Ilbis and bunch of other things just dropped down a few mil. I understand why GFA's and ATT WG's are dropping because of the fact that people are quitting their arans and going back to their mains. But that's no reason for CFA's, etc. are being dropped in price. I mean, just a few months ago, I was able to sell merchants CFA's for 7mil. Now they aren't even selling in my store for 4.5mil. Also, I've noticed this wasn't happening in just Windia, but a lot of other servers as well. Can someone explain this?

what's a CFA? anyways yeah gfa's and scrolled wgs are going down like crazy. i'm seeing 10 att u/h gloves in mts for 10k unsold. a few weeks ago they would be up for 12k-13k and sell pretty fast.

Dude, it's getting better... I remember when Scrolls were max 2~3m and CFA 60% were like 1m..

The economy is not failing, it's going back to normal. If the economy is expected to continuously inflate, when will it stop? When your 10atk wgs get to 300? No, since you do not accept deflation, it'll keep going, 500m? 700m? Some deflation is healthy for the economy, as long as it doesn't crash. Which it will not.

I didn't think that a few scrolls would do this but I guess that's because I've only gotten a few good items from pypq Also, just so you guys know, economy means trading of goods. Which can conclude to more people selling and more people buying. People aren't selling anymore because they want it for to go up in price again, and they hold on to their items. At least that's what i think

Once nexon finds out pypq is making people rich without spending real money on the game im sure they will remove it and if not lower the chances by 50% of actually getting a scroll.

Too much supply and not enough demand. I think part of the lack of demand has to do with the crazy number of hacking incidents that have been happening lately.

Not entirly true, some people wont hold ther scrolls, some will. And what billyyang said, the economy isnt getting screwed up, it is getting back to normal. THANK GOT FOR PYRAMID PQ. I mean, would you rather pay 7mil for a CFA or 4mil for it?. Of course the initial blast would kinda suck for the people who bought for the original price, but eventually, its all good. Everything is getting cheaper, and thats a good thing for the most part of it. The only thing that i really hate is that triple throw 30 and gensis30 and berserk30 are like the only things that arnt going down in price. T<T its gunna be a long time b4 i get tt30. Also ive noticed that time peaces are going down slowly, b4 they sold for like 10, then 9 then 8.5 8 7.5 and now ther like 7. You can even find some for 6.5 if ur lucky. Maybe i shud screw tt30 and make my lampion... Anyways, just try to sell most of ur things and start merchanting with the new economy. I think its a fresh new change, what about you? ^^

So it's failing because things are cheaper......? You are saying that you'd rather everything be overpriced? Lower prices are better. Mesos will be worth more. If you had everything too pricey, then the value of Mesos decreases. When any currency is worth a lot, it means that the economy of that currency is successful. Be thankful that prices are going down.

I love PyPQ Nexon is bringing maple back to were it should be, they have been making it easier for newbies and players overall. Yes it will be harder for old merchants but it will bring in some fresh players

[/quote] Buddy, you're so true, but everything in Maple has some sort of reference to real life. (Like NX to Drugs) As I was saying, out economies are based on almost completely on Market economy. (Only few things are in NPC shops like pots, low lv equipment, 100% Scrolls) Merchants, (Our "Capt. of Industry" or "Robber Barons") will help or hurt economy. Then we have the buyers. (Consumers) Capt. of Industries try to help our economy by making prices balanced for all consumers to get them. Keeping a nice slowing economy. Robber Barons are the Bots and the people that will sell things for the most they can get (Which ever is the highest someone will buy for.) It hurts the economy on low to no funding characters making it hard for them to get anything. But one thing in real life and that's in MS, Business Flow Chart, it's impossible for it not to work. It's the thing that makes our life the way it does. It's what created the Great Depression and the horrible depression couple of years/months ago, but it also when the depression/recession ends it goes back up stimulating everything. No matter when this cycle happens, it effects the economy in the biggest way possible. And every time it gets more severe on how it rises and drops prices.
