Getting to 4th job; too high of an expectation?

Getting to the 4th job seems to be everyone's reason for making a certain character. What if they can't get there? What if they get bored after hitting level 50? Do you think this is an irrational reason for creating a character? Do any of you have other lower goals like getting to 3rd job?

Ive only made it up to level 80.. second highest is level 70, it is way to hard to get to level 120 man

Can't remember.

I made this character because none of my friends had a bowmen. I never expected to get to 3rd job, the highest I've ever gotten with my other characters is 48 (I don't play very much), but a little bit adds up in the long run. I was surprised when I actually hit 70 haha.

OT: jsut so you know, My aran is my 1st 3rd Jober. My other chrs are all stuck in 2nd Job. Lol. After i quit for a yr, i came back for arans. That's why I get (pet) peeved when people say they wanna make a (4th job here) when they can't. I made a thread about this somewhere lol. Like if you wanna make a (Night Lord), first you gotta be a Rouge, then a Assassin, then a Hermit, then finally a Night Lord. OT: If you've got a few, it shouldn't be that hard. Otherwise, yes, it is a pretty high expectation.

I made an I/L because I personally like the elements ice and lightning (it works so well it's scary) o-o I just set little goals for myself. I started off with getting 3rd job, then the level of my previous character (lv85 I think), then lv100, and I didn't imagine I'd get to 4th job, but somehow I did. Now I'm trying to get to lv150, then lv175, then ultimately lv200 if I can. Basically setting small goals helps tremendously! :D

4th is basically when you can do whatever you want,kill and go most areas tackle whatever boss you want .Use cool skills unno It did it for me.
