How do I train at Newts?

Well I'm 85 and sniping newts. At first I would try to keep 3 otcopi going.(Octo build.) I would stop halfway inbetween killing a newt and summon it. I felt like it slowed me down. Now I saw SOME videos on youtube and maybe half of them only summoned octo when they FINISHED killing the newts ONLY if the summon was ready. Should I be constantly trying to get 3 octo or should I just spam BF and summon octo when they die?

In my experience, it's faster to level Ice Splitter to 26 first, so you can kill two newties, then getting octo first. I got 26 IS first, and I didn't really summon alot of octo's during training at newties there anyways.

Well I'm lv 85 and I have 21 Octo already so too late lol :P Anyways, maybe I'm just noob but the newtie spawns IMMEDIATELY after I kill the previous one. Which means I don't have no waiting time. Which also means that there'd be no point of freezing 2 since the newtie respawns. Like if I hold on to BF for 20 seconds, it probably wouldn't hit "nothing." The newtie spawns so fast that my next BF hits it immediately. I don't know if this is just me or what. But yeah.. The only time it doesn't respawn is when I accidentally fall off. AKA when I kill too slow.
