I'm kinda stuck on which I should choose. I have no idea what level I will end up at, hopefully I will aim for third job AT LEAST seeing as I've never had a third job character. -sad- Anyways, the thing is.. if I get to level 120 or lower, NW will be pretty cool for me. If I get to 120 on a NW I'll be uber pissed that I can't level anymore. Soo, what do you think I should choose?

Pretty sure you won't get to 120 if you never even got a character past third job, better choice would be NW

except for NW they level crazy fast with their poison sling while Hermits gotta spam at newts or go try himes or something. So depending on your motivation you might be able to hit 120 on your NW but not on a hermit.

Go for the NW, for a NL to do equivilent damage as a 120 NW the NL has to be level 134. (assuming same equips.) Do you honestly think you'll make it to level 134?

If your thinking of making it your main go with NL. If it just a fun side character to play while your bored of your other characters make a NW.

You don't -know- that you can't get to level 70. How are you supposed to get anywhere with that kind of mindset? Pick whichever you fancy - when I have those funny quirks to make a sin, it's because of organized boss runs - but if you get to 120 on a NW, I doubt you'll have the motivation to get to 120 on a NL. Those extra 70 APs can make or break your level of patience and motivation. This is why I don't make CKs unless they're rep mules - let's say, if I made a NW and got it to 120, I'd be used to the luxuries of more AP and thus faster levelling. Would I trust myself to make any regular sin afterward to the same level? Would you? I've played this game for about 4 years now, and I reached level 70 on a marauder for the first time around 6 months ago. There's nothing wrong with picking a CK, but just note that you shouldn't pick one because others say "if you never got to 70 before, you shouldn't do so-and-so".
