When being high Lvl Goes Wrong

So I'm a pretty nice guy. When lvl 60-80 sins/hermits come up to me and ask for advice I answer. Then they always ask: "Where should I train at my level?" I reply "I don't know" and every time they F3 me and say "noob." Now if they say "Where did YOU train at my level?" that would be easier. Why can't they understand that we are from different patch generations? I am from the DTs, squids and water goblin era. I don't know squat about windraiders, gallops, cpq2 or whatever. -sigh- /end rant. Has this ever happened to you? For the older maplers I mean. Or anyone for that matter.

I have an incident where this lvl. 24 Pre-gunslinger comes up to me asks me where did you train when you were a pre-gunslinger like myself? And I was on my WindArcher. o.o I told him I didn't know about slingers. He defamed me and said he'd report me for harassment.

I feel for you,i get that now from young mages and my guildies.I always say "i dont know" then i get the f3 look and they walk away.But Im from the old maples days we did fog or wraiths,grupins,std's etc.Now all i get is "leech me for free" and it drives me crazy.But anyway i understand and give you props for starting over good luck
