Alright, so I've noticed there has been a LOT of speculation as to how the Thief Legend will turn out. In this thread I'm going to separate everything that is true, and everything that is false about the Legend. "The Thief Legend's name is Ryan" - The thief's legend class does NOT yet have a name. The names that were suggested such as Ryan are ideas and possible names, however, they are NOT guaranteed in any way to be the name of the class. "The new Thief Legend/Adventurer is going to use Dual Blades" - While this is highly likely with the creation of the new Blade scrolls in KMS, it is also not a guarantee. "The New Class that uses blades is an Adventurer class" -This is also not a guaranteed. While it seems HIGHLY unlikely that Maplestory would release an adventurer class in the middle of a cycle of releasing legends, it is still possible. Therefore, we CAN'T know at this point in time whether or not the class that is to use blades will be a Legend or an Adventurer. "The new class is going to be a Sindit using both Sin and Dagger skills" - This is also speculation. There is absolutely no guarentee that the new class will import skills from existing thief classes. Infact, it is highly unlikely this will happen because if the class was to turn out an adventurer, every adventurer has unique skills, and if it was to turn out to be a Legend/Hero, every Legend/Hero that has been released has had a skill set completely unique to it. I'm hoping this will cut out some of the rumors that have been spread about the class. The information given out of Spadow's Blog is only very circumstantial based on updates and teasers in KMS.

..The strings say FJ + shadow partner skill, as well as "flyingAssaulter" And an assassinate looking skill(on the tables) And After the "Aran" hair was released, 2 patches later the "Ryan" hair was released. Also the "job" string is > 1000.. Which have been all adventurers, 1000~2000 is CK iirc. And 22xx is aran. edit: skill strings are: tripleStab, flyingAssaulter, hustleAction, hustleAttack, hustleStop, fatalBlow, slashStorm, slashStorm2, bloodyStorm, flashBang, suddenDeath ..GG'd?

It however makes sense, what i want to see is a true " ultimate" like a 64 hit attack in 3 seconds or such. But the CD would be long. I would like to see freeze frames for each hit. then it just explodes in a succession of hits.

Just a possiblity, but the "maple online card game" has a thief card called Ivan. So maybe Ivan is the thief hero.

Is itcg availible in korea? Because I think it might be an actual card in those itcg sets. If it isn't maybe gms took Ivan from them or something. As I said just a possibility, I just thought it was because of the rumors about the A E I O U sequence.

And i doubt the name will be ivan.

The sindit aspect is bull made up by assassins wanting another class to play and seeing a thief job that is anticipated to be bandit-esque. There is absolutely NO proof for it other than what people have made up. As for the others, there is proof: Ryan: The Hair introduced "Aran Hair, Ryan Hair" Blades: Blade scrolls introduced Adventurer: The Number tag was 430, where as bandit and assassin are 410 and 420, and the other legends are 2100 and 2200 Sindit: NADA.

All of the evidence that you guys are bringing up and the Spadow is suggesting is all very circumstantial... and its not even good circumstantial evidence...

The answer is no they would make a hair for every legend not just skip 1.

"Can Spadow show us the number tags." Show us them? Sure. Has he? No. Did he look at them himself? Yes. "Is there Evan hair." No, because the Evan showed to us in teasers is that of a child, Aran's were shown at the "average" maple age in their teaser.

[/quote] How do you know spadow can. I can easily pretend to read something. How would you know? He looked at them himself. So he looked a file? Any files could easily be changed or glitched. Evan showed us teaser as a child. He did not change throughout the entire teaser and even if he did children still have hair.
