Aran's as PG Mules?

I had a little idea.... Since arans have a skill that is almost the equivilant of PG (Body pressure) If there was an all dex aran, very low str (dex for accuracy) with maxed Body Pressure, could you run into HH as a substitute PG? Since it mirrors touch damage but as a sort of attack, is this possible? EDIT: I suppose any level body pressure would work, just so it inflicts some sort of damage.

Body Pressure uses your own attack range to do the damage back to the monster you touched. I works in an entirely different way than PG. PG actually takes some of the damage you receive, and sends that damage back to the source. So you take less damage than you normally would. Body Pressure does not do that. Whatever you would hit with a normal PA swing, is what Body Pressure will do to the monster. Also, Power Guard does not rely on accuracy to hit the monster, however, Body pressure does.

I don't think they will have enough accuracy at level 3x. Fighters have more HP and can hit 100% of the time with pg Just so you know, PG isn't just used for bosses

Even if you could hit the monster with Body Pressure, your damage would be miniscule at best. being a low str Aran using Body Pressure to fight is a horrible idea.

sublime it wont work as an efficient PG mule because they have low HP. you need at least 12k hp to effectively PG mule bigfoot and you cant make hp arans like you can hp warriors.

If anyone actually suggested they'd use this build, I would have to slap them across the back of their head and tell them they're making a huge mistake.

I'm on basil on phone atm so this might be a horribly typed comment. BP needs acc to work. PG Does not, making it less efficient. Even if you added every single point into dex, i doubt you'd hit bf, hh, skele, etc. Even if you were able to hit, you wouldn't be able continuously bp as you would pg for leech. The hp is too low. Pg is way more efficient. P.S. The people here can read just fine. I've read all the comments.

[/quote] Before anything, if you are willing to waste the stats of a character in such a fashion, assuming a "PG Aran" WAS useful, Why the hell not make an HP PG fighter... WAY More HP, same low STR, 100% hit, etc, etc. I mean, a PG Aran has ZERO advantages over an HP fighter. 1. Now, body pressure is not 'almost the equivalent' of PG. It activates on touch, but thats it. Everything else is different. 2. Why do you ask a question you already know the answer to? "can you" yes you can. why? because its possible to run into HH with body pressure activated. last time i checked it was very possible. Now, is it probable that you will hit? No. If you waste all AP on dex? Why would you do that when you can make an HP fighter which is much more effective? 3. It does NOT, i repeat NOT mirror touch damage. It uses your own damage range to calculate the damage. 4. No, any level body pressure will not work. You will do mediocre and your low level aran will definitely not be within 5 levels of HH, or the party member killing it, therefore resulting in horrible EXP due to recent changes to party EXP (this was implemented before the leech-preventing patch, therefore it is still in effect). In conclusion to this, both PG and body pressure will get you very low EXP, but an HP fighter has many many many more pros over an aran while having no cons. And if you want to pretend you're more knowledgeable and make up numbers and statistics, I'll let you know I have an HP fighter level 47 (HPxVVarrior) and an Aran level 72 (Sofuto) in which I have personally seen the effects of these skills.
