| Alright so I'm a Level 97 Aran. I have maxed Full Swing, Maxed Critical, Maxed Snow Charge and Maxed Smart Knockback (1 Fenrir and 1 Toss). So those 1st three I listed I understand what they do and they all help me get more %/Hr while I'm grinding. Now Smart Knockback confuses me. Here is the description: Utilizes efficiency over power, in that it dishes out less damage than a regular knockback, yet still manages to knockback the enemy. So to me it sounds like you already knockback the enemy but now lets do less damage and still knock it back... all ur doing is less damage. Though when I have this Buff on I notice I definetely do my normal damage (not 10% of it as it says). To me it just seems like a waste of a few seconds to activate a buff that does nothing. Now did they screw up the description? Does it only require me to do say 400 damage to knockback an enemy when it would normally be 4000? Any help would be great. I'm kinda annoyed I wasted time on this skill. I could had maxed Toss and been owning some Himes or maxed fenrir and get higher %/Hr at Gallos. |

| yeah.. when maxed it only takes 10% of the KB value to KB the monster.. so your example with 4000 to 400 is right. If the monster needed 400 dmg to KB it, it would only take 400 with maxed SKB |

| I agree with this also. I think we knock back monsters easily anyways or most classes for that matter. What's the point, it'd be useless in higher levels, seeing how it doesn't work on bosses. |

That on a large mob when your damage per mob gets reduced it can be difficult to hit 10k and KB them so they don't attack you? Gee, you must be right. Smark KB is really useful for training! |

| smart knockback is really useful... you only have to hit 10% of normal knockback damage to KB something unless you are really strong, you won't be able to knockback mobs of 10 monsters cuz of aran's damage spread w/o SKB |

[/quote] uhhh Yeah. It is useless. Oblivion gaurdians, on average a lvl 135+ would, infact KB them at their level. Anybody who can't hit 10k at that level clearly sucks. Infact, their damage would only be reduced to atleast 2k-3k. Seeing how they only go there for the 999 quest, it'd be much more wiser to train at skeles rather than some place they can't even tank a hit. |

| I dont see anything in the skill description saying that SKB lowers your DMG, it only says that it lowers the KB DMG needed to knock a monster back. |

I don't understand how it'll help me at Gallos, personally I think I should've went w/ fenrir first but I assume it helps me at Himes and Skeles and ToT. |

| Dont Arans start every string of combos with a normal 100% attack, and the damage is distributed among every monster in the mob? Even a well funded Aran will want to have SKB so that every hit causes a KB. Besides, hitting 10k with a standard attack is not exactly reasable... not untill at least some very high levels. @above: PKB only affects the damage needed to KB, and skill describtions in MS are terrible and often misleading. |
