Soo my theory of pirates.

It seems like a lot of you are thinking that pirates will use guns. What if this isn't the main point? When I think of a pirate I think of a smelly man in an awesome hat using a big sword. The pistol is just a sidearm.. So what if Pirates implement using 1h swords with offhand guns? Or Visa Versa? I mean pirates already hold their guns in the same hand most of us use shields right?

Gunblades? Gunshields? It's most likely that the Pirate legend will be based on the Gunslingers, but I think they'll be getting dual wield guns like the Thief Legend.

In the image showing the five Heroes facing off against the Black Mage, you see Aran with his Pole Arm, Evan with his Wand, the Warrior Hero with his weapon, etc, etc. The Pirate Hero isn't wielding a gun. Which leads me to believe he will be using Knucklers. I'm pretty sure they're not going to implement an entire new set of weapons for one class. They haven't done so with the two Heroes already out. But who's to say, maybe they will, maybe they won't. I'm just making a logical guess based on what I see. There was also a quote from the MapleStory comic that someone posted on here, talking about a Pirate Hero 'who didn't use a sword, nor magic, but fought with his bare hands'. Or something along those lines. Which only further makes me believe he uses Knucklers.

[/quote] Well, it is a pretty widely-accepted belief that they WILL implement a new weapon for the thieves ( Blades ). So it is indeed possible that they might for pirates as well Mr. Grayblob :3
