I am a level 56 gunslinger and I am concerned about my damage. I have normal stats (normal Gunslinger stats), and I guess average equipment. Please tell me if this is ok or not ok Dmg range: 402 ~ 705 Stats: STR = 63 (55+8) Dex = 251 (237+14) INT = 5 (4+1) LUK = 5(4+1) I looked at some pirate damage ranges and according to my damage I should be level 3x or 4x! So is my damage ok for level 56? Please help (if you can, post any advice I should follow, such as capping STR at a certain point, or anything)!

It's fine. The fastest way to increase you damage... level up. 2x/4x at CPQ.

No one accepts me for PQs (unless it's PYPQ, I still have SSK), and people KS me because they know I cannot do anything about it DX

Find TW if you want to. Also, don't worry the DAMAGE THREAD makes me feel bad too. People my level have like 2000-2500 and I have __-1800 :/ . I'm hardly funded. Just ignore others and train at your own pace!

What I did was- I led my own parties. Add 5 people and split into 2 parties to trade win. Try to pick the people you feel will lead you to victory so you don't get scammed.

I would but uhh, CPQ2 is so underpopulated, and since people dont really know that a match is going to be TW or real when they join, they still will not want to pair up with a slinger (I once got kicked out of a TW match in CPQ1 just because I was a slinger). But thank you for your help.

Eh, Damage Threads are all messed up. They're not really damage comparison threads at all. They're threads where people show off their godly equips. I'm thinking about posting my own range at level 50 to make those other slingers feel better. That, and there's absolutely no slinger ranges posted between 30 and 70.

Ignore others dmg range. Those people are ultra funded to get that high dmg range. You're fine. My dmg range is 253~447 and I'm lv. 48.

Don't think to much about your damage yet. You should try to level up more, first. Cuz when you got more money, you can upgrate easier. Just level up a bit, and enjoy it.

They are still helpful. I use them all the time. Every few levels I go to the damage range thread, compare my damage range to theirs and I see how I can improve my range by looking a thier equips. @TS I wouldnt suggest worrying about your damage range until you start to train at jr newties. As long as you are getting fast exp per hour go with it. You unfortunately are probably compring to people with 10+atk wg and atk PACs, etc.. Once you start to train at jr newties you will want a better range so you kill them in a few less hits which can change the exp per hour by a lot.

[/quote] I didn't specifically say they aren't helpful (or interesting, for that matter), but the fact is that many people who bother putting up their damages are doing it to show case a high range, not help other people in comparisons. For other, less funded people, Damage Range Threads oftentimes serve only as places to feel worse about it all.

They are still helpful since they show how they have that damage range and you could have something to strive for by seeing them like that. Yes it makes some people doubt their characters ability to become better but if they changed the way they looked at it they could slowly become stronger by making upgrades one at a time.
