Google Is Ruining YouTube

If anyone doesn't know this already, YouTube is redesigning their website. Here's a preview: It's terrible. If the beta channels weren't terrible enough, now they're screwing over the entire site. To see the redesign, just go to the homepage, then click on the 2nd link under "What's new" on the right hand side. What do you guys think?

doesn't bother me.. If it changes to this new design i will still feel exactly the same. I mean its not like the video player has changed.

I don't see how anyone can like this web...abomination, for lack of a better word. EDIT: @ above: Look at the description box, it's a tiny slit under the video player. If you make a big description (which tons of people do) you're screwed.

Just because it's new doesn't mean it automatically ruins the site. I mean, look at Basil's makeovers, people said they were crappy and that they wanted the old style back, but most of us find it decent now.

[/quote] Ah, duh. How could I miss that? I figured it would be a video showing the new design haha. I don't like it too much, the comments look too cramped and small and it's so colorless and bland.

When I want to get to another one of their videos, that mess of videos comes down and obscures the view. Either way, the old design was much more user friendly and easy to browse through. There was nothing wrong with the old design, it was perfect. The main thing I have a problem with is that's this crap looks like a freaking 3 year old designed it. It's ugly.
