Critical vs Smash

At which level (critical) should I start keeping my combo instead of using Combo Smash?

Until you can fully upgrade your critical to the combo number required to use smash.

You can't really count on Critical until it have about 30-40% activation rate, and that will only come about around lvl 13 and above Critical. Until then, Combo Smash would probably deal better output.

I didn't stop using smash till i maxed critical but I think it's good sooner.
