Is This Youtube Channel Promotion thing fake?

Just a while ago I got a personal message on youtube from some random user telling me about this youtube channel promotion thing, that gains me views, 5 star ratings and stuff to get my channel more popular. I am interested in gaining more views on my videos and stuff, but it just sounds fake to me, I have a ss of the personal message because i was too afraid of clicking on the link first. http://img297.imageshack(period)us/img297/5438/youtubepromotion.jpg

I agree with the above. If you really want views, just create a fake account, go to your video, and refresh a bajillion times.
