| OK so I've never had problems with people KSing me or being a damage wh0re or anything like that. Probably because on my gunslinger I only PQed, and my Night Walker was actually pretty strong, so it would be pointless to KS me... Well, yesterday I was on my way to Victoria Island so I could go to Rien and make my 3rd job advancement. I was on the train from NLC, and this random level 71 Wind archer was like "Hey my damage range is 12XX ~ 21XX what's yours?" (I dont rmember the exact numbers.) I said "Mine is 8XX to 23XX", which it is. Anyway, you obviously can't compare the damage range of a Wind Archer to the damage range of an Aran, but whatever. So he siad something like "Ok I will test if what you says is true". So he takes me to Bubblings when we get off, and tells me to attack them. So I attack some bubblings with my normal attack, and I hit over 2K, so that obviously means my damage range is true, and I can go get my 3rd job, right? No. Apparently he knows better, so even thought I can hit 2k, he said my damage range is not true. He starts using his attack (IDK what it's called) that hits 3 times with arrows. So he does like up to 10k maybe? (Altogther, not once.) And he said "If you can't hit higher than me you're fail." So apparently because an Aran using normal attack can't do as much damage as a wind archer doing his triple shot thing, the Aran is "fail". So the guy just calls me fail and runs away. It just pisses me off that he knows nothing about the game, and tries to compare the normal attack of an aran to a skill of a wind archer, and I'm fail just because I can't hit 10K with my normal attack. What do you guys think of these people? |
