Vegetarians vs Meat Eaters

I've been a vegetarian for almost 12 months now (in like a week or so) and have enjoyed being one. Whilst coming up to a one year anniversary of this change i reflected on the topic in general, the whole Vegetarians Opinions vs Meat eaters opinions. nowadays i seriously can't go into a charcoal chicken shop or anything without feeling ill, i Just wanted to know what all you guys think about it, because i don't get how meat eaters dont see how Cruel and Primitive(Don't Know what it means? look it up) it is to eat meat. If humans and all animals were vegan the eco-system would be screwed, so meat eaters help balance the eco-system and therefore is a good thing.

I don't mind vegetarians, but it gets annoying when they bash on me for eating meat, I mean I don't bother them

I'm vegetarian for many reasons the main one is that have you seen the inside of a battery chicken farm? Legally a chicken has to have the amount of space equal to 3/4 the size of a sheet of A4 paper. They have their beaks cut off. Their cages never get cleaned out until they get slaughtered, they have to live in their own **** for several weeks while getting injected with drugs tomake them grow. I feel that animals should have at least a fair chance to survive, instead of being bred for death. If I klled an animal with my own handmade weapons and prepared it by myself with no outside help I would eat it. Because it would be fair.

Plants are living too, we kill them to eat them. The fact is, we have to eat something . Don't get me wrong, if someone is vegetarian or vegan, I have no problem with that. When people say things like "I'm a vegetarian because killing animals is cruel", then I sort of have a problem with it. Why is killing animals more cruel than killing plants? But oh well, I'm not going to get into an argument about it.

[/quote] GO organic. :] OT: I like what that one guy said about choices. I chose to eat meat and vegetables, so I guess you can eat what ever the ... you want.
