how many of you actually want a slow metabolism.

keeping in mind that with a slow metabolism you cant eat as much of whatever you want and just sit around and still be at a healthy weight and its harder to lose weight then gain weight.

Where's Dimo? Actually... i'm ok with my metabolism. I'm not exactly completely buff, but i'm not skinny or fat either. Somewhere in the middle.

Metabolism is a collective term. Just because you have a fast metabolism doesn't mean that junk food won't affect you as much as it would a person with a slower metabolism.

As you grow older your metabolism slows down. Having a fast metabolism doesn't necessarily mean that you don't gain weight. Fast metabolism burn your calories at a higher rate but you would still need to be well active.

I do D: I'm so skinny. 5'8-5'9 not sure last time i measured myself was a long time ago, and I am 105 pounds. No matter how much i eat, I just can't gain weight.

Fat does not turn into muscle. When you work out, you burn your fat and then your muscles grow. Its two different things. There is no such thing as fat skin...If you say you have fat skin then chances are you're fat. Weight doesn't necessarily mean you're fat, it's your body fat % that matters.

Well, if you're hypothetically stuck on an island with no food, ideally, a slow metabolism could be the difference between life or death. But that actually never happens, so i guess people with slow metabolisms are at a disadvantage.
