Especially nowadays with everything becoming so much easier, a lot of children are raised with .. quite a bit of money. The children that grow up getting what they want without consequence NEED to be taught a lesson.

I don't agree with spanking. I don't believe physical punishment is the only way to deal with a naughty child. I was never spanked as a child.

Spanking doesn't instill any message for why what the kid did was wrong. A timeout/removal of priveledges with an explanation is better. Then, you have to make sure the kid understands.
