What's with RED SURFBOARDS?

It has a SLOW ATK speed, and i'm just wondering why everyone says its pretty good when its ATK SPEED is LESS THAN a KARSTAN So does KARSTAN > SURFBOARD? I'm also looking towards endgame weapons and would like some advice =] Please & TY!

Well, a red surfboard has a slow speed of 7, while the a karstan has a speed of 6 and the other regular slow polearms such as the chelbird/zedbug have a slow speed of 8. The surfboard is slower than the karstan, yet faster than the other polearms. Endgame weapons can go from an arcglaive 110+ attack, a chelbird 128+attack, or a diesra 130+ if you have the funds. Currently I'm using a 125 atk surfboard until I find a higher attack arcglaive. NOTE: for arans Speed>Attack and there's usually a difference of around 15attack when you switch from normal to slow.

Yes Purple=fast it is the fastest PA in the game but if you can find even a decently scrolled one be prepared to drop money in the billions.

a red snowboard with around 20-25 attack more than a karstan will out damage the speed of the karstan so if someone's using a 95 karstan and you want to switch to a different weapon, you'd need at least a 115 attack red surfboard for it to even come close to comparing with the speed of the karstan

red snowboards are nice. I was lucky enough to have a few from way back when and my gf scrolled one up to 114, not too bad, but not amazing either. Works wonders on her DrK at himes though. edit: btw, the eclipse also has the same speed as the red surf, so if you can get a godly maker, then a 99 eclipes clean could be scrolled up to 115 with a couple 30's and some 60's, if you're lucky.
