Getting to Lower Ascent as a crossbowman

This is troubling me. I have never once gotten to Lower Ascent because those Elderwraiths kill me in one hit. Is there any method as a crossbowman to easily bypass them? I seem to be having infinite trouble attempting it, and I know that Lower Ascent is possibly the best training I could get at my level. If not, could anyone please list an effective alternative? MP3 is much too busy for my liking. Thanks in advance

Only thing I can think of is wear HP equips and bum rush the map. Otherwise, look for some spearman friends with HB? Seems like I'm going to have the same problem as you soon... =/

I've gotten there a few times on my own. Use PKB on the wraiths until they're at the platform that's a little lower then the one you're at. Wait for it to go into the corner, then jump.

nah get hit by the strombreakers then walk through the elder wraiths. Thats what i do on my xbowman :D i get there almost evertime (lag and hit pole)

I just get my Aran friends to go to Lower ascent and I family warp to them

hmmm, get some1 to help you. Try wearing some hp gear if u cant find any, I don't know how much hp u got tho. Get the 150hp tube, a 50hp el nath cape, some hp gloves, and hp earings (I can sell a 60hp one for 3m) and maybe a pig headband. And bring a lot of pots so incase you make it through, you can stay there longer.

Do as alchemic said. Hit a tree or stormbreaker and run through elders when you aren't blinking. also, puppet gets rid of enemies if it dies and you're out of range.

I used to either teleport to a family member already there, get help from a higher leveled friend, ask someone in channel 1 to help me, or just pray their wouldn't be an elder wraith on the map and change channels if their was. Hitting a lower leveled monster and walking through the elder wraith can work, but I've found it hard to do since the wraiths can come from underneath and corner you on platforms without other monsters. Also, I used to buy like 600-1000 pots at a time so I could just stay at lower ascent for levels at a time. Good luck!

[/quote] Same, can't believe i died there, while its only sniping spots o_o Anyways, try surfing channels, or getting a thief mule to do it and teleporting to the thief. Other options are learning how to jump over them, and aggroing, etc. it really depends on your speed/jump

Use HP equips to get you at around 2.6k hp and tank the damage,then immediately heal. Use other monsters such as the tree or the stormbreaker for touch damage and invincibility frames for safe passage, remember to heal! Puppet can help, just lure. Riskiest of them all is to jump right over them in transition to another platform. Also, Arrow bomb's stun works wonders to Elders, but your an xbowman. Hope this helps. P.S. Once you get there, begin doing the quests for the teleport item.

if u have anything that freezes or get a bw/mage to use Slow on it. Elderwraiths move so slow when u cast it on them...
