| I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to make money for a lvl 85+ hermit on maplestory without merching items. I am mainly looking for pqs I can do or monsters to hunt for money. Any suggestions are welcome. ps: I dont wanna merch items because I dont know what to buy and dont have a shop permit at the moment. Edit: If merching is pretty much the only way to make money can someone please post a good guide for it then? |

| Try going to Wolf Spiders on x2 drop with family rep if you cannot get nx that would be like 2k o_O and like 1.2k exp per kill. |

| if u have 3k nx what u can do is go to mu lung dojo and get a red or black belt, sok and scroll. If u cave 6k nx then you can sok and sell both. The red belt is 60-80 mil and blk is 150-175mil. If you do not have nx u can use mts to get. Merch or chaos scroll would be your best bet w/o nx. You can also try your luck with scrolling wg's or other equips in high demand. |

| Kill leprechauns in Masteria. You can get a few mil in an hour, I think, depending on whether you get drops and what the drops are. Terribly boring, though. |

| I'd personally recommend making a PyPQ mule. The amount of scrolls I've received is insane compared to what I would have received training any other way. If you plan on doing so, I suggest making a cleric, Aran, or warrior. I haven't tried the latter two, but as a cleric, I get anywhere from 3.8k~4.3k kills per PQ. Note, however, that you won't be able to mob in the bonus room if you do this! The monsters inside the PQ are undead, but the yetis in the bonus are not. Edit: I also just looked through your players and saw your Aran. You can just use that. You'll level it and make mesos at the same time, so what's the downside? |

| Train at CWK monsters, as the badge rewards give pretty good mesos. Hunt area bosses. Look for training options that have expensive scrolls droping. I just train at places I can solo without taking much hits, pick everything and NPC whatever monster drops that is not as valuable as to sell at basils; also avoid repetitive making and scrolling of items, inclusively buying novelties or trying to improve stuff to a godly level (want a 12 atk glove?... stay with a 8-10 atk glove and think about one of those after you have reached level 120+, as reverse things might be in your plans and from there there s not much to get so far). |

(2 weeks for 10 SB badges anyone? o.o) |

(2 weeks for 10 SB badges anyone? o.o) [/quote] It is not that bad or hard to do the quests, as the really significant ones are those that require to get some badges (if he is at a guild with good people over lvl 100 it can be done pretty fast)... and even though some badges seemingly drop rarely... it is because the monsters are not precissely the ones he ll be training on (at a 2 hour session at WRs he will most likely be getting at least the 50 badges, the possibility of 750k mesos or a raven equip along with the chances of getting a low level xbow, but the mesos is the one with most possibilities). I trained at NightShadows for a few levels, and it was at least 50 badges for 5 to 8 hours of training and most of times that came with 3.5m mesos as a reward... ocassionally an onyx sword, but also got a raven claw, so I m happy with the mesos I made there (not suggested if you can t kill them efficiently, so just train at spots you can make profit is the most important suggestion). |

| Well, everything revolves around supply and demand. There is no way you can get rich without merchanting. If you get a scroll, what do you do with it? You merchant and sell for cash. If you gacha and get equips, what do you do? You merchant. Since you don't want to merchant, you won't get rich. But if you are willing to try, start off small. This excludes selling leech, zak helms, scar helms, targ helms, etc. |
