| So I keep hearing that Evans are awesome because they can "boss." In today's Maple age, good bossing often means high DPM or useful contributions to the party. Now, I've been through Evan's skills and they obviously have a lot of different skills, and it's clear they could be good at training. However, I'm not quite sure which of their skills they would use to boss and rack up some high DPM. If someone could please enlighten me, that would be great because I'm only considering making an Evan if its bossing capabilities are better than an AM's (I know AM's are atrocious lol). Thanks |

| They'll be better than regular AM's apparently, but they won't go anywhere important in the DPM ladder. |

| you can go in bosses like many bishops with your unique resurection skill, + your DPM outdoes all of the A/MS part and a skill that lowers magical damage (usefull ) also you can have slow as a buff |

|
onion4yaa : i can boss
Yepp healing+the occasional bahamut damage makes bossing that much more fun. No offense, I simply find bishop's a boring bossing class. Well evans get a tremendous boost in damage because of amp and the fact that their skill base damages are rather high...And their skills seem particularly useful for HT, if theyre on the bottom of an ht run they could just use ultimate to clear the wyverns out and use their resu skill for bringing the seduce mules and bishops into the ht map. |

| Well they have a good party buff (the one that ressurects) Illusion hits x4 they have mobbing skills that are more flexible (clearing summons) They reduce damage party takes (helpful for other attackers i.e arans, bowmasters, other classes with low HP) mainly i would imagine as attackers, they'd only be useful with mob clearing and the occasional illusion |

| Evans have a lot going for them, actually... 1) They have party buffs that work like Invincible for Weapon and Magic attack. They have a buff that recovers MP for any party member standing in the area of effect. And, of course, they have the buff that randomly chooses 1-2 people in the party and auto revives them if they die. 2) Attack-wise, they have three abilities that would greatly increase their bossing abilities. They have Elemental Reset (which takes away that pesky elemental resistance bosses have), they get critical damage abilities (like sins and bowmen) and they have a homing attack abilitiy like corsairs to focus their damage on a single target. So, yeah... they will probably be the better bossing class for mages. |

| The damage reduce skill is probably the only thing that is good from them. Their damage is only slightly better than an archmage's and still lower than all the attackers. Calculation was done on another forum. |
