|
HyeAran : 10% of the KB required to KB a boss isn't helpful? Hello Pink Bean pin? Not to mention, 700% damage skill that doesn't require a combo GREAT mobbing skills Stance = Survivability 35% damage reduction combined with a fairly good HP is high survivability. Drain eliminates the need for HP pots when training, giving 100% survivability High mastery (Stability along with BMs and MMs, win much?) Combo Critical Final Charge > Rush, Final Charge can take two more monsters than rush. Damage is useless when using rush/FC In bosses such as Zakum and HT, Aran > NL/Corsair, Smart KB & mobbing ability, combined with a FANTASTIC melee range. But wait why am i even arguing? Its an opinion. Your opinion is different than mine.
We are talking about bossing. Not training. Half of what you listed makes you a great training class. Not bosser. Kb and mob what at zak and ht? Those flying things and wyverns? Find me ONE pro host that will EVER take an aran over a nl/corsair. I dare you. You guys are party buff leechers. Simple as that. |

| HP Warriors Survivablity: 11/10 (they have insane HP i have 8.6 K atm) Damage: 6,7/10 not that great cos they use PG as their main attack but still they can hit no matter what Teamwork: 7/10 provide nice exp to a healer (priest cleric what ever) but not a lot else THEY ARE STILL AWSOME DISPITE THEIR SHORT COMMINGS AND CAN SOLO ANY BOSS AT LVL 31 (in theory) SO DON'T DISS THEM ! |

Still better than what an NL/corsair can provide. In addition, it's all on opinion. Arans have greater 1 vs 1 potential than heroes but against 2-3 monsters, we lose out. Tempest, combo critical, and our KB all help in tanking out CERTAIN bosses. The thread starter never mentioned specifically HT and zak and im sure if you are ANY class except arch mages at a decent lvl (130ish), a guild will take you on a zak run. HT in general requires high leveled players...Anyways, ofc NLs/corsairs will be dishing out higher dpm but still, arans will be invited on boss runs too. My Rating on Arans: Survivability: 5/10 - achilles and that other skill but less hp than a normal warrior Damage: 8/10 - Arans dont deal as much damage as other particular classes but they still have great damage capabilities esp. with crit. Teamwork: 6-8/10 - buffs |

| How has no one mentioned a Pally yet... Survivablity 9/10 PG, threaten, acb, high hp, warrior armor, just no hb Damage 8/10 This is just a random guess since I'm not really a bosser Teamwork 7/10 Rush, acb, and after the balancing patch threaten with -20% wa and wd to the monster plus the acc decrease which I don't know much about |

| What's the point of time leap? And how important is speed infusion in boss runs? |

|
adripe : What's the point of time leap? And how important is speed infusion in boss runs?
Speed infusion is most beneficial to warriors, in general. Zak/HT don't usually run all warrior or have warrior parties, but in CWKPQ warriors are the most helpful. Time Leap is not necessary, just more of a useful quirk. Extra Res is always helpful. @karmamayne First of all, I have personally never seen a corsair on a HT run.(this is in broa) Arans have a better chance because they can help out in either the seduce party and combo barrier, or be place with the ranged party because they get huge dpm increase from SE. I don't know about any "Pro" organizers, but a wise one would definitely recruit an aran they know well that's level 160+. |

|
adripe : What's the point of time leap? And how important is speed infusion in boss runs?
Time leap gets rid of the cooldown time of some skills like Ressurection and Smoke screen so you can use them again. Speed infusion makes your weapons faster so the classes that have slower weapons will hit much faster (IE, Drks and Arans) |

|
BoomBakery : fixed.
heros got the most hp of all warriors + they got power guard, their damage is pretty good especialy at cwkpq and zakum arms or other bosses where they can hit 3, so i think mine is better |

| A lvl 200 aran is the same as a lvl 230 adventurer. I think i read this when CMS compared the 2 classses. |

I was just replying to the guy who said they are better than nls/corsair bossing wise. Thats why my comment sounded so biased. My bad |
