How did the free market get it's name?

I think Nexon is silly to give Free Market its name. Nothing in the Free Market is really free. This name can be very misleading for new players. I have a many experiences of having to tell new player that free markets doesn't literally mean free. Can someone please help me get some info on how the Free Market go its name and which person is responsible for naming it? Also, I would like to know if there is anything in the Free Market that is free. Free<1meso Also, any ideas for a name change for the free market?
