Maple Economy Skyrocketed?

I don't know if it is just bera, but can someone tell me why everything has more then doubled even tripled in price? I haven't played maple for about a year or two now and I came back to find out glove att scrolls are now 10m+ they used to be 2m-4m. How could they possibly go up in price? Overall scrolls are outrageous. I am pretty rich I have about 32b spread out on mules but still why the hell did it skyrocket like that? Here are some reasons why I think it did. 1.Noob merchants in need of mesos put things in there shop for 3x the price and others saw that price and did the same as it starts to catch on everyone starts doing it. 2.Nexon lowered the drop rate of the items. 3.People are getting extremely greedy and theres people so rich they pretty much own servers. 4.Obama. If you think you know the reason why these items are going up so high so fast please post your opinion.

Supply and demand? When a new job such as aran comes out glove att scrolls ,glove atts, dex equips and such all sky rocket.

@silver Its not merchants fault, by fact merchants actually deflate prices :D, its all cus of the new job aran and supply and demand like nless said and also they keep the server prices stable

3, and bcs maplestory's economy system doesnt work bcs way more money gets into game that gets out. sample, when thing get bought from npc they go out of the game when you buy from player they stay in game for this reason and so many ppl merchantin and grindin for mesos etc there is comin more and more and more mesos in maplestory, before you now it its like gfa 20mill >_< and bcs of high scroll prices newnie's can easily atain money for training by sellin scrolls before he goed merchantin :P

Lol 32b. I find that hard to believe, thats like max meso on 12 characters? And you only have a level 57 dawn warrior? And as for inflation? I have no idea how that works. Prices increase, prices fall, you just gotta deal with it?

I played when it first came out played it for about 2 years then quit for about 2 years then came back.

Heck, I knew of a merchant who was one of the main reasons Onyx Apples went over 3m eventually - he bought all of the ones under 3m, then sold them for 3.4m so he could drive up demand and make a profit. When Arans were about to come out, pretty much the same thing happened with pole arms and scrolls - merchants knew the demand would go up, so they bought scrolls and pole arms in droves so they could inflate to high prices knowing people would have to pay if they wanted them. Sleezy business practice - don't try to justify it.

I believe Glove att scrolls became one of the main items used to convert into nx in MTS, so I guess overtime the prices kept going up. They've actually been going down in Windia due to Nett's Pyramid.
