In reality sins damage is MUCH higher (and ur slinger DPM is slighly lower). You also face the problem with diagreement that the equips are not equal, this forms a very big problem as it is highly subjective and based on opinion. nonetheless, you are wrong either way, you calculated sins with a lower than optimal attack speed, completely neglected criticals, as well as using the inferior damage range, and they STILL came out above gunslingers--thats saying something. DPM is not something easily found, but since you provided SS, I'll figure out the real dpm for you. i suggest you correct your thread after me doing so (it does take some work). I dont enjoy people spreading around false information. That's damage over time. A Gunslinger's damage will always suck. It gets better when they become an Outlaw, and even better than that when they become a Corsair. Point being, a Gunslinger's damage. Will. Always. Suck.

Nice math. I dont have the attention span to do this kinda stuff but good job lol. Turns out slingers are actually not that bad but people ocmpare them to dexless sins/NWs so i guess it makes them look weak

You didn't add in critical damage. As you may or may not know, assassins have the highest base critical in MS. The fact that they both almost average out with each other when you have such good equips on only serves to further prove that Gunslingers SUCK in 1st and 2nd job. I had a 15 atk boost from my Paladin as well as lots of funding and constant 12 atk pots to help me out. All the basic extras like atk WGs, PAC, etc. Yet it was my weakest character, even compared to my Paladin back when he was a Page. My slinger was even worse than a zero-funds, no atk pots or atk WGs Page way back when OPQ was still new. Huge difference in funding and added attack, yet even with that boost, I did less damage.

kiddo. it's pretty much different eras. the sin was BEFORE CK. Meaning that it was WITHOUT BoF, regardless of the fact that you only have 2 BoF. you have a belt, he doesnt. not to mention that we don't know a good half of the sin's equips.

you didnt add in Critical, or the fact that L7 has a better mastery based on LUK, or that gunslingers wont have any mastery till lvl37+, or that gunslingers can't KB for shizz because practically all of their extremely low damage is absorbed by monster weapon defence.

[/quote] He has a 7 attack pac which basically offsets the 2 attack from BoF and the 7 dex from the belt. He also has a Level 64 weapon while im using a level 60 weapon. I do agree with you that they're different eras and all but are equips are of a similiar level, and he's the closest sin on the ranges to me when i last took my range
