Hello everyone! Well here is Jitterbug's Crossbowmen Guide on Basilmarket. Please posts any mistakes or anything I missed. I'M NOT FINISHED. I HAVE TO UPDATE. PLEASE BE PATIENT! Crossbowmen use Crossbows, also known as Xbow for short. A crossbowmen are known for its damage. Also probably one of the top of all classes for DPM. They also have decent hit points and mana points. About Builds Balancing skills on Crossbow Soon to be they will balance skills of almost all jobs, except for Aran, Bishop, Assassin, Knights of Cygnus (I think). Builds Builds are sometimes very important, but you don't really have to use my build because sometimes I just like playing around with everything. Getting to know every skill and picking any skill. Try to get the skill that is most important to YOU and how you train. For example: If you train a lot at like at scorpions in Sahel 3 on 2nd job. I would prefer Power Knock-back and Iron Arrow because they are straight maps and usually lots of mobs. Crossbowmen vs Bowmen Bowmen Pro: -Ranged -Faster than XBow -Has Hurricane -Arrow Bomb stuns Con: -Not as strong as XBow -Scrolls and weapons are more expensive Crossbowmen Pro: -Ranged -Crossbows have more ATT than Bows -Scrolls are much cheaper -Bows are much cheaper -Less pots in 3rd job because of the ability to freeze -Require less strength for equips Con: -Slower than Bows For a better description go here Iron Arrow vs. Arrow Bomb: Iron Arrow Pros: -More damage than Arrow Bomb (180%) -Hit 6 people -Has knockedback Iron Arrow Cons: -Only shoots in straight line -Can't attack up or down Arrow Bomb Pros: -Stuns (60%) -Explodes and hurts and area -Hit 6 people -Can use from a safe distance Arrow Bomb Cons: -Less damage than Iron Arrow (130%) Blizzard vs. Inferno Blizzard Pros: -Ice Attribute -Can freeze -Can be shot up and down -Mob attack Blizzard Cons: -Less damage than Inferno (140%) Inferno Pros: -Fire Atrribute -Can be shot up and down -Mob attack -More damage than Blizzard (150%) Inferno Cons: -Can't freeze First Job -Standard Critical Shot before Double Shot build Level 10: +1 Arrow Blow(1) Level 11: +1 Double Shot(1), +2 Blessing of Amazon(2) Level 12: +1 Blessing of Amazon(3), +2 Eye of the Amazon(2) Level 13: +3 Eye of the Amazon(5) Level 14: +3 Eye of the Amazon(8) Level 15:

I think you mean first guide in the Crossbowman forum. There's a guide for both Hunters and Crossbowmen in the Bowman forum, which is for both classes. There's nothing wrong with your current guide (except one thing), but there's nothing special either. The Archer Skill Build Guide is already well-established and fully up and running. "2nd Job Iron Arrow>Bomb Arrow" That's only true given certain specifications. Good luck on multi-platformed, bumpy, or hilly maps with Iron Arrow. Only being able to travel in a linear path can suck sometimes. And then there's the stun and unique Critical formula for Arrow Bomb. You can't just blatantly state that one skill is better than the other.

There are actually a bunch of various skill builds for all bowman jobs. One I frequently do when I make a Bowman is dump all of my points into Critical Shot. Why do I do this? First of all it is passive damage so I don't burn through mana potions at the start of the job so it is cost efficient, another reason is because you will be training in some areas were there will be a lack of sniping spots and the enemies aren't VERY quick so I don't need the added range. For a Crossbowman I find that getting Booster as fast as you can is very important, especially if you compare it to a Hunter that maxes Mastery first as a Crossbowman you may actually get an attacking speed advantage since Booster really helps our attack rate and lays down the damage faster, and with Booster working along with level 1 Iron Arrow you can keep monsters knocked back so they cannot get near you unlike if you didn't have Booster they will continually creep up on you.

Definitely need to fill some holes. This guide has some potential, but pretty much everything is already covered within the general bowmen forum.

i didn't really like the uhh...lack of explanation for anything lols as of now this isn't a guide...it's a compilation of builds and training areas. i also didn't like the pro with xbows being "strong" stronger per hit? i mean, they have a stronger damage formula (i believe), so in a way it's kinda true, but you can't be that vague and just say "stronger" man, it feels so weird lurking the xbow forums haha...i'm making one myself xD GREEN MITTENS
