Girls and boys as friends

Yea so I was just wondering, generally which of the two sexes would you prefer to have as a friend and why. Personally, I would rather have a girl as a friend (I am not homosexual) mostly because they're generally more caring and sympathetic, are good listeners and talk well too. Not to mention most girls won't try peer pressuring me into doing stuff I don't want to. How about you? Edit: Just as a reminder, I am not saying you only like someone because of their sex. I'm just asking about everyone's preferences. We are all prone to prejudice and personal preferences.

I already have a lot of "friends" that are girls (I'm gay), but I'd like to have some guy friends. The ones that like me for who I am. Or gay guy friends. :]

IMO friends of the opposite sex are better. You'll get along more with them. The only downside is if you wanna stay friends but fall in love =/ Although same sex friends are good , too . They understand you better at times . :P

Both? o__o I like variety. Well since I don't see any girls breaking, and since I am so "sucked" into the world of b-boying that I prefer to be with other b-boys as well. But I enjoy being around females just the same, as long as they don't talk 24/7...

Only people who think they don't want friends. As for people who don't have friends, I apologize for not putting it up as I forgot momentarily that there existed people without friends.

I guess it's because of the way I grew up. Pretty much alone my whole life.
