What happened to monster carnival pq?

I used to play maple story a lot but then call of duty zombies and modern warfare 2 came out so I quit about a year ago and when I came back, no one is MCPQing anymore or KPQing anymore. What has happened to the world of maple? Is there some new party quest that came out that I am not aware of that gets you a lot of exp? I heard that there was a boss quest that was similar to the mu lung dojo but I also heard that it was an event and isn't happening anymore. Any help with my confusion would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen a major drop in CPQ... that new monster killing one might be where most people have headed tho'. (For the lower levels, as quite frankly it's godly exp from 25-31).

Reason no one KPQs anymore: They have Monster Clean Up PQ or Kerning Subway PQ to net them XP much faster--and you can do it by yourself with no dependency on party members. People only KPQ for Squishy shoes or scrolls, these days. Reason no one CPQs anymore: Monster Survival PQ or Pyramid PQ can level most 40~50 characters in anywhere from an hour to 3 hours--and you can do it by yourself. Also, Mushroom Kingdom has some nice quests that can get you from 30~33 without much effort--and the enemies there have great HP to XP ratios for 3X characters
