Why do they announce when you get "good" items in gacha?

today i got a white scroll in windia . . . and then all of a sudden there were like 10 guys on my screen trying to force me to trade with them. And i was getting like 40 ppl wispering me trying to get it too -___- this of course made me dc cause my laptop sucks :/ so i just stayed logged off until they noticed i was gone, and i just put it on basil :P I think that maplestory should get rid of that stupid notice cause i bet im not the only person who has had this happen to them. So go ahead and share your stories if you have them :D

They announce the good items and the few crappy items so that it seems like the chances of getting good items are high. Basically promotion/advertising whatever you want to call it. It's all a scheme.

I like it cause I get offers right away with those items, and some people actually have pretty decent offers. My advice, get a better computer

It advertises the gachapon, so there are more chances of people tempted to buy gach tickets to get good items like they see in the announcements.

It's because others see that there are many "good items" (because only the good items will be shown) --> They buy gach tickets too --> They fail --> Buy more tickets --> Nexon gets rich. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, depends on which items you get. I mean, sometimes it's quite handy if people immediately offer on something you get, it might be a good one

They also announce it when you get something like a 5 below avg fraute or sumtin like that basically: they have this list of items. if your item u gached is on the list, the game smegas it out

Grats on ur white scroll! I find it funny that whenever I do get a nice item such as a chaos scroll or white scroll, people start crowding me/spamming trade with really really bad offers hoping to get a deal.
