[/quote] Naw crap Sairs are already better bosser than most classes at around Mid 13X it the ship thats a problem even though we have more skills to max it just adds on to our already PWN dmg. Sairs may be overrated or whatever here but not in my sever. another thing is you like 13X dude most classes aren't even taken seriously until 15X to boss >> go train some more before making opinions like that. Sairs are awesome Bossers they need a good controller to use them right. Don't blame the class if your control sux which is about 80% of Sairs problem at 13X.

A friend of mine quit his corsair at lv 126 because the whole demount/remount thing was too annoying for him. He said he started a corsair was because he wanted decent damage and now he has been wrong the whole time Also I have a lv 14x corsair buddy who converted to Nightlord because the damage difference is hardly noticeable in a long run And I am safe to say surviving on a Nightlord is MUCH EASIER than a corsair. And we can only deal damage by surviving, if you died you won't be doing anything

Fact: A) The damage difference is "hardly noticeable in the long run" if the NL has SE. Say that again without SE. B) The only thing that's hard to survive against now is PB, and lets face it. Your fake isn't going to let you survive the entire PB fight either. C) Corsairs mob much better than NLs, and can actually immobilize monsters.

I never heard about a 3rd nerf. Though I have to say I'm not that surprised. The 1st and 2nd rings are complete overkill.

Corsairs are indeed overated. Nub corsairs or people without corsairs just hear about damage damage damage, corsairs have the best damage so their the best right? not exactly. And those who are corsairs will never back down their pride and be like oh no theres no better class than us. Well guys, truth is IT DEPENDS. There are many factors, dont just look at the math. Reality doesn't work like that and REAL math equasions take account of "EVERYTHING" possible. With that said I am a proud owner of a 16x corsair and 15x NL. I have to say it really depends on which boss we are talking about whether corsair or nl is better. For example on scarlion, hands down corsair all the way thru. No stuns or anything, i rarely break the ship and its just straight constant damage (like the charts say) However at bosses like zakum, nl's with their superior evade and constant attack do indeed out damage a corsair. For example during third body, your basically stunned and sealed every few seconds. As a corsair id get a couple cannons in but as a nl i would evade most of those and deal pretty good constant damage. Once again, based on math, corsairs have the highest atk power formula. But that doesn't make them the best all the time. Then we have that debate about you only need to be on the ship for X min to outdam a nl. Well, people still evade the question of constant damage vs interrupted dam. If everyone was just holding down the atk key and no interruptions were present, then sure, u only need 30 min. But they still don't factor in evade, kb's, stuns, knock downs, etc. And yes, finally the "dependent on se factor" Corsairs are the lone powerhouse, they need nothing and deal everything. Where as nl's need se to be on par with them. In most situations they will have se. So really ill have to give this one to corsairs. But other than that, in most bossing battles I do belive nl's are more"EFFICIENT" with alchemy and evade.

I miscounted. There were 3 versions of the rings, so 2 changes. First set was the original rings (10% crit ring +50% damage), could be worn all at the same time with lillins rings. Second set had the same exact stats, but couldn't be worn with lillins ring or wear them all at the same time. Third and last set had nerfed stats (10% chance of crit, +10% damage).

There is no way slingers are overrated in the slightest. People would kick me from a cpq party for being an lolslinger, which just pissed me off since i got more points than some of them Outlaws are the most overrated. especially since people always say it so much better than slinger when it really isnt. Instead of training at 10 places from 70-120 we train at 2. Windraiders, and Newts. Corsairs might be overrated. The damage on my friend's sair is amazing but im pretty sure any level 148 attacking class does enough damage already

I like corsairs =) They're quite fun, and they have decent solo damage. A bit tricky to play in certain situations, but I like the challenge.

I think 2nd job is underrated. Nice mobility and the mobbing isn't bad (at least they can mob in 2nd, unlike Sins and pre-Balance Bandits). xD 4th job is overrated to me. I've heard "Corsairs will replace NLs/make them extinct" plenty of times. Still waiting. xD
