not very well elxpalined he is a hero successor of Freed the orginal dragon master so yes the class it self would be put in as a legend class making the legends mage spot taken

When you reach level 200 as an Evan you get a medal: "Hero's Successor". So yes, you are right, he is not a legend, it is a steal from Eragon ;).

Evan is the normal farm boy, and Freed was the legend that fought the black mage. Freed's dragon was named Afrien I think and he layed an egg, which Evan found and Mir, Evan's dragon was born. Dundun. And yeah Evan is not technically a legend, but it is still the legend mage class.

Freed was the Onyx Dragon's master and also the mage of the legends. He cast all of his spells through his Onyx Dragon, Afrien. Freed was killed and Afrien was frozen in ice. Evan himself is a simple farm boy, but one day he comes into possession of a baby dragon called Mir. Evan gets the Medal "Hero's Successor". He is not the mage legend but he is the his/her successor.

Freed= Mage Legend Afrien= Freed's dragon Evan= Random farm boy that finds a dragon egg that hatches Mir. Mir= Descendent of Afrien. However, at Level 200, Evan becomes the successor of Freed, making him a "legend".

He is technically not a legend, Freed was. Freed's dragon layed an egg which Evan (the farmer) found.
