Collected in one thread! All the answers to the questions you've been asking...again and again! LEARN how to use a manual and DISCOVER the treacherous joys of the stimulator ! EXPLORE Eos Tower and MARVEL at the Rombot in its secret lair! FIND main construction <area 4> ! FINISH the dollhouse quest! UNEARTH Maple History books ! GET a 100% ATT scrol l! QUESTION the meaning of dull crystals and YEARN to meet Geny ! SEARCH for an esther shield ! GIVE mesos to the author for being so nice! There is also a general FAQ here: link Q: How do I use a manual ? How do I get one? A: A production manual allows you to make a level 30-50 weapon (your choice) of the appropriate type, assuming you have the required materials, which include mesos and refined ores up to and including dark crystal. For a list of requirements, look here: link Once you have the items you'll need, go talk to Rydole in the toy factory <apparatus room> . Manuals drop randomly from monsters, but you can also get one of your choice for your job from a quest. Q: What is a stimulator ? Do I need one to make a weapon? How do I get one? A: Stimulators drop randomly from monsters. You don't need a stimulator to make a weapon, but it's the only time you can use one. By using a stimulator with an item, the item will be given random stats exactly as if it was being dropped by a monster. That means it can be above average...or average...or below average. There's also a 10% chance of it being ruined , in which case you lose the stimulator, manual, mesos, ores and all. If you desperately want an above average weapon, this is one way to do it, but it's also a risky way. Q: Where is <Main Construction1> Part 4 ? I can't find it on any map and I need to go there for a quest! A: <Main Construction1> Part 4 is the Ludibrium jump quest known as The Missing Mechanical Parts (level 30). You need to go to the factory and talk to Assistant Cheng , an NPC who will teleport you to the jump quest area. Like party quests, only one character can try the quest at any one time and you have only 20 minutes to complete the quest by collecting all 10 missing parts from a series of diabolical moving ramps. Good luck, you'll need it. Q: Where is Geny ? What are keys for the magic box ? I can't sell them, so what do I do with them? A: There's no NPC named Geny in the game, but there IS one named Jeanie in Ludibrium (on a platform). Apparently the keys, dropped by trixters (spiders) in Eos Tower, are meant for a quest that isn't out yet. They're common drops, so there's probably no point in holding onto them until the quest is released. Q: Where do I find the Maple History books ? A: Maple History Book I can be found on the ship from Ellinia to Orbis inside the cabin in a brown box. Hit it four times with a melee weapon to open it and it will often (not always) release a book. The box seems to take some time to appear again, so not every ship (in fact few) has it. Maple History Book II can be found in Grendel the Really Ol

Great guide, I especially liked the dollhouse guide, except you forgot to mention the most important thing. HOW DO YOU GET INTO THE QUEST MAP?

I wish there were some way of making this FAQ sticky, like some forums do, so new players would always see it at the beginning of the forum. It could save us a lot of threads. On the other hand, it would take up space, and older players might not like that; still, it would be nice.

with this FAQ, anybody who is still asking questions about ludi quests ought to be shot. They either can be bothered to do it for themselves or they dont have a clue what ludi is

Nice guide! I still have one question though - is the 'lost soldier' quest for Eos towe scrolls repeatable? My friends say it is, but I've waited for several days and it hasn't appeared in my quests box-thingie.
thieffer 03/09/06 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
<Kuffara> yes its repeatable, i did it twice so far. After doing it ones it will stay in the finished quests list. However the symbol infornt of the quest should indicate you can redo it. <Harper> Great guide!!!!

Let me get this straight, you talk to OLSON the guard guy, he will transfer you to quest area, just like assistant cheng? and 1 per ch?
soymilk001 03/09/06 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
thanks alot
Harper 03/09/06 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
Acidslash: That's exactly right. You need to talk to Delv the Toy Soldier to do the walnut quest, and after you finish he suggests talking to Olson, but Olson never gets a quest icon over his head (bug?). Because only one person can be in the quest at a time, you will often end your conversation with him by seeing "Sorry, only one person...". Try, try, again.
