I don't get why many people say that poison sucks for mages and they should just stick to fire and magic claw. I mean, from the videos I've watched, all the mages that used poison were really good. They could just use one poison atk (forgot what it's called) and just walk away...

It's becuase the base attack is not worth it to max out before any other spell. with a base attack of i think 60 at max, it wont do good damage and for it to take full effect, u have to wait alll that time for poison to kill the monster.

because poison is an attack that has a CHANCE of working, unlike ice, ice's status ailment is 100% of the time on non-ice base monsters poison only has a certain chance for it to work, also this is an online game, walking away from a poisoned monster is juss asking to start a KS war. lastly, it's the disorder Vs. Threaten thing, one tagets 1 monster one target's mobs, so at second job poison brace(the cast on 1 monster) isnt as effective as the third job(poison mist) which will effect an area of monsters

poison is actaully good. you can use poison, poison teh monster. the poison would do like 300dmg every sec or something. u can then use fire arrow and do high dmg until he poison runs out, then poison it again and use fire arrow until it dies.

lol the point is, poison is only good as a side move. in a major battle, u might want to poison the largest thing first, then hold on the fire arrow button.

poison cannot kill it does damage until there is one hp left at most tahts why in the video he killed the yetis easily with the fire arrow in one hit after he poisoned

LOL GREEN YETIS!!! also, poison isnt good base attack and u dont need because most monsters lvl 100+ are immune to poison(u will train on them in 3rd job soon).
