This may be a little noobish, but for wands & staves, is casting speed effected by attack speed? I think i've seen someone say it doesn't, but I couldn't remember EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to change the title. I originally was going to ask a question about scrolling, but then changed my mind

No. The attack speed is the normal hack 'n' slash attack with the weapon. Casting speed remains the same, till the 3rd Job where we get Magic Booster. Booster really is a 2nd Job skill, but it seems Wizet wants to @%$&* us mages.
