Hey guys, I'm a level 73 AR ranger. I'm having a bit of trouble with training, and I'm wondering where you think I should train. Hoodoos and Selkies have been relatively ineffective sadly. Should I go to WRs and just use strafe? Thanks for the help.

Just go to lower ascent or tornado corridor and use bomb/strafe. Thats how i got to 80... I dont reccomend pirates, its really slow and not worth the pot costs unless you have a pet, even then though...

Pretty much what i did was wr till around 75. then you have the option of early typhons or head to pirates. otherwise, sniping stormbreakers besides wr is also an option till around 80. i actually did pirates till 80, then typhons. listing your skills might be helpful, but i assume you have around 2-4 ar?

Well there's a few alternatives, the guy above me listed a few. Pirates Typhoons (Amazing Exp ONLY if you can kill effiectivly) Gryffons (Not as good as Typhoons but easier pot cost IMO) Or of course v/hoodoos and Wind Raiders.

The best thing money and exp wise is Lower Ascent till 80, while maxing AE/AR, and then hit Typhons for 25 levels. I hear Pirates is good money, but for exp WR>All until 80ish, so go to LA for now.

I love your Avatar. OT: Windraiders is quite nice, but I never liked the fact that you couldn't use arrow rain there effectively. I wouldn't recommend pirates personally if you can't control them (KB, jumpshooting, w/e) . I'd say it was close, if not equal, exp to the selkies/jr slimies. Just test the places out .

If you cant get to those, you can always go to MP3 if ur AR is decent enough

At typhons it's not needed to be killing effectivly, why else would people already go there at lvl 75.. :-0. |

futakeye is right, my friend is a 73 blaze with minimal gear training decently at typhons. i understand its different, but as long as you get used to it, typhons at around 75 is decent. it helps if you have the mark and all. my adventures on typhons at 75 were 3 deaths. I had difficulty at wr so i went pirates at 75-80. it was around 20%/hour, pretty close to selkies. only way i got through it was the flashyness of ae and 2x rep + events. wr is your best option, but you still want to try out early typhons. dont worry about slow killing, the exp evens it out at the end.
