Don't try to deny it. We've never recognize a day like this unless it was a national holiday, like Memorial Day or Veterans Day. Those days we knowledge our losses from our victories. But where's the victory in 9/11? There wasn't any. Also I know that i'm a day late but i was gone all day yesterday.

Try and simplify what you're saying because you're saying that we have holidays for our victories but then you use memorial day for an example which is more of a day to remember all those who lost their lives for this country.

Roflcopter123 : If it is, we should get school off for "a moment of silence" I never it was a national holiday, because it isn't. I was just wanted to find out what would be the reason for it to be a national holiday if it was actually one. @stefan812: Memorial Day was made after a World War (forgot which one) to celebrate our victory.

metaghost3 : Why was it a national holiday? Patriot Day is to remember the lives lost in the attack.

CrownedSorrow : Patriot Day is to remember the lives lost in the attack. So is that what they call it now? So the only way we can made this nation show Patriotism is when it gets it's attacked? -___- Btw, September 11 is NOT a national holiday.

Because of all the lives lost. Not because of "Patriotism" it is simply to remember the lives lost.
