Edit:I just wanted some advice. I guess I'm going to look into the market and see how it is and figure it out myself. Thank you people who actually gave advice.

Buying random material things is the equivalent of this as well. You don't need it, but rather you chose to buy it for your OWN ENTERTAINMENT. Nobody else has the right to tell you how to spend your money. Some people only play in their free time(which is rational) And using all in any statement is usually a false statement. Getting a PS3 or games cannot compare to NX, because of the simple fact that in reality NX cash is a mere idea, it does not exist, its VIRTUAL. You can't hold NX Cash or what you get from it. It holds no real value in the end. In Comparison I buy a wii and smash brothers and I'm set, no need to worry about losing anything unless I happen to throw it out the window or break it somehow. To the thread starter: As someone pointed out there have been plenty of threads on the topic see what they did and if that makes sense to you.

It's not even half. This thread has been full of nothing but useless comments. I'll try and make a good one. What you do with that NX really depends on your patience. If you want money NOW, you can use gachapon. With the new MTS tax, MTSing GFAs just isn't as good anymore. It is a much more stable way of spending your NX. There will be no letdowns, just a possibly lower turnout. However, if you're patient, you can wait for great deals on great equips/scrolls. For example, my friend's friend recently bought a 21 attack unhammered BWG for 100k nx. That's an amazing deal. He'll be able to resell it for MUCH more than that. As I said, it all depends on your patience.

It's his decision to spend that amount of money on NX or whatever she wants. Why do you guys even bother caring? If she enjoys playing this game then why not? Maybe she wants NX much more THAN video games, clothes or 1 month of gas (cough)..

I get the feeling you didn't understand that statement. He states that maple and everything within is an idea, not a tangible object. This would be a correct statement. You cannot hold your SPENT NX in your hands. Everything within Maplestory is subject to non-physical alteration, whereas the only alterations in a video game would have to come from a physical defect. This means that if someone were to suddenly hack Nexon's servers, all of your hard-earned (or hard-begged) money would be lost. A video game, on the other hand, has to be stolen from a specific location or broken to actually be "lost." Therefore, you have some sort of control over whether or not your video game is stolen. This is not true for Maplestory (Nexon's security is not in your hands.) Also, NX cash is non-refundable. Once you buy it, you don't get to give it back. My point is, you have control over your game, and you can choose to sell it back for some fraction of the original price. This is not true for Maplestory or the NX you buy for it.
