So, Biggest debate. BM or MM. You tell me why!

It's always been a big feud whether or not BMs or MMs do the most damage, or have better range, or boss better. Well, here's your chance to let it out and to let your opinion be known. I'm a BM for one reason only, and that is a very fast Anego time. The SE is nice but either way I can be viewed as an SE mule. Same goes for MMs though. In terms of Dps, I think BMs have the upper hand. Even with Snipe at max doing 199k, it has a 5 second cooldown. Compared with Hurricane which can attack continuously without being effected by breathe and, depending on the BMs equips, can very closely match if not do more than the Snipe's damage. So, post your view, opinion, oversight, etc.... I'm curious! :D

spiritrival : No it's not. Snipe works best over time. 3 Snipes in a minute is a lot better than 1 Snipe per minute. What are you talking about? I don't see why you would have quoted me with that because my post had nothing to do with what you said. No class is equal. Stop feeding each other with lies, please. ):

BMs can pin so they are apparently better on bosses, but most of Maple is about grinding... With the extra ability to mob and cheaper weapons (hence easier acquisition of "godly" weapons), the choice is obvious. MM = Megaman

MMs can pretty much kb every boss in the game though.

MMs, even if snipe's cooldown wasn't messed up, would have a lower dps than BMs by about 15k, if they both have perfect equips. I have no idea how speed infusion affects a MMs dps, but I know it doesn't affect a BMs. It really all depends on equips, and since Xbows are a lot cheaper than Bows, MMs are about equal to BMs, given the same amount of funding.

If they can't single target train well due to Snipe's cool down, they always have the other option of going to a mobbing area - more freedom of choice for grinding. BMs just mainly excel at single targets with their pinning and kb, allowing them to easily solo bosses, especially mobile ones which OHKO you like Black Crow. This makes sense, because BMs excel at single targets. MM can do both but compared to BMs in single targets, BM gets an advantage. Also, since most skills have a .6 or .7 second delay, a BM using the .12 second delay for Hurricane allows them to de-assemble the rifle quicker thus, a greater chance of manual maneuver avoid.

MM > BM in solo training. When used right MM burn almost no HP pots with Blizzard and Frostprey. Plus we specialize in mobbing so we level faster than 1v1 training. However, BM excel at bossing (especially with high level SE and Hurricane) far more than MM. So it evens out if the BM levels mostly off of boss runs and 1v1 training.
