Why is dreamy ghost hunting called Himes?

Yep, so I hate myself for asking, but if Himes = Dreamy Ghosts, why is it called Himes? Why not DG or something? What's the connection between Dreamy Ghosts and Himes?

5o4B0i : which one sounds easier to say? This has NOTHING to do with it, Hime was simply the original name given to them, but changed in the gMS version. gMSers just stuck with Hime since they already knew them as such. Just like some people still call Pianus Doom Flounder.
