Why do people hate Christians so much?

You people are all like, they shove their beliefs down our throats! I don't want to believe in an imaginary man! Well, that's fine to me. Not all Christians knock door to door, in fact - very little do. Everywhere I go, I can see Christian bashing photos. You have to acknowledge that there ARE other religions in the world.

In the past, the British established many colonies and basically forced Christianity down the throat of all of the natives. Claimed they were savages and inferior because they didn't know about Christianity. I still see Christians trying to "save" people with different beliefs. Oh, and you can always count on your buddy, Buddha.

Generalization. I never try to shove my belief down peoples' throats. I also know many people who are also not like that. And about acknowledging other religions, we do acknowledge them but not as the truth because that would defeat the whole purpose of being Christian. We acknowledge other religions to respect other people's belief but we also have a right to try and convince them about our religion just as they do to others.
