For me, it will always be Perfect Blue. It was probably the only real good horror movie I ever saw; most of them nowadays are just gorefests. That probably will be topped by... well, not even a movie. When They Cry (i.e., Higurashi) will probably keep me away from orphanages, schools, and festivals of any sort if I ever watch the series.
